It's Okay to not be Okay
This is one of my favourite Korean tele dramas I have watched. This drama brings a story of different kinds of mental disoders, people suffer from.
The story flows along with "Gang-Tae and Sang-Tae" who are siblings and "Koo Moon Young" who joins those siblings' journey while falling in love with Gang Tae.
Sang-Tae is Gang-Taes' autistic older brother. And Gang Tae is a caretaker at a mental hospital. Moon Young is a children's book writer also with an antisocial personality. And Sang- Tae is a big fan of Moon Young.
When Gang Tae was a child he wished his brother's death because their mother paid most of her attention to old brother. And he wanted to have a normal sibling like others and wanted to do his own things and to get rid of brother's responsibilities. Instead of that he had to bear those things to himself and had to get along with his brother after their mother's death. As a grown up man he realizes how much they count on each other. Then Gang Tae protects his autistic old brother at all costs.
Sang Tae wants to be an illusration artist and he always wants his little brother to be by his side.
It becomes more curiouse with revealing the truth about their mother's death. And it is so crazy to watch the things happen in the mental hospital.
And it shows how to accept each others differences, need of love to heal the mental illnesses, how valuable the siblings' bond whether it is in any condition.
So this drama brings out a beautiful love story among three of them and how they become a family at the end.
